ReSource : What do we do?
Making a difference
We live in a time of change, and change can be painful, uneasy. How
will we respond? Can we have confidence in this ancient faith of ours?
ReSource wants to travel with the local church according to its
God-given vision to bring about lasting change in our communities. Our
aim is to facilitate fresh vision, strengthened relationships and
renewed energy wherever we go.
-
Developing confidence
-
Enabling change
-
Creating community
We do not come with a package. We work with all traditions and
denominations, believing that God loves our diversity. We offer not
programmes but resources – human resources, written resources,
spiritual resources. We always begin by listening, and shape our
contribution according to what we hear. We want to help build
relationships - with and within the churches, and between all of us and
the living God.
A vision for the future

Lord, transform your world, renew your Church, and start with me.
How can we help?
Our vision is to help build a church which is diverse, local, renewed in the Spirit and effective in mission. We work with denominations, dioceses, local groupings and individual churches. These are some of the situations we have been asked to help with. If any of these chime with your needs, do get in touch with us. But there are lots of others too – please ask us.

Publications and Resource materials
-

-
A topical full colour magazine - for those engaged in ministry, offering theological reflection, testimony and articles on key issues facing the church and the world. Our team includes reflectors as well as practitioners.
And so on, however the Lord leads. We always try to match the
offering to the expectation, and improvisation is one of our strengths.
We always listen first.
For feedback on our ministry please see our ‘What do people say about
us’ page.
What will these things cost?
We are a self-supporting charity with no central funding; we
live by faith. We ask for the refund of our travelling expenses for any
preparation visits and for the work itself, and then accommodation
and/or subsistence as necessary. In addition we invite a contribution
to our time and to the cost of running ReSource - to the extent which
you or your church can afford. This can be handled by budgeting in
advance and/or by taking up a thank-offering at the event itself, if
that is appropriate. By way of guidance we suggest a daily rate for
contributions of £165 per ReSource person per day, to be paid to the
ReSource office; but we emphasise that the main criterion is what can
be afforded. The more that can be given, the more it enables us to work
in places where even our expenses can’t be met.
