The ReSource staff team
ReSource has a small but dedicated staff team, working in different ways alongside our body of Trustees and our team of Associates and Missioners. This is what we look like…
Before becoming Director of ReSource, Martin Cavender was the Director of Springboard, the Archbishops' initiative for evangelism. A former ecclesiastical lawyer, Martin is a founder member of the Archbishops’ College of Evangelists, gifted in mission and with long experience of working across the traditions of the church. He is a deeply spiritual man with a great gift of encouragement, passionate about the gospel and committed to working alongside others of all ages and backgrounds. Martin is a great networker, and ministers in partnership with an expanding team of ReSource Associates and Missioners. He is ably supported in this by his wife Cesca who brings her own sense of vocation to this work. Cesca is a member of the prayer ministry team at Harnhill Christian Healing and Retreat centre near Cirencester. She belongs to the Lydia prayer fellowship and has wide experience in prayer ministry, teaching and training. Martin and Cesca have three grown up children and a growing number of grandchildren.

Alison Morgan is ReSource’s thinker and writer. A linguist by background, Alison has a PhD in medieval Christian literature from Cambridge. After teaching in various universities, she was ordained in 1996. She has written three books: Dante and the Medieval Other World (CUP 1990, reprinted 2007), What Happens When We Die?, (Kingsway 1990, Chinese edition Campus Evangelical Fellowship Press 1999), and The Wild Gospel, published by Monarch as our first ReSource book in the UK in 2004, and in the USA in 2005. Alison is the editor of the Rooted in Jesus discipleship course now in wide use in Africa, and has written a number of ReSource booklets and (with Bill Goodman) the ReSource Lent course Season of Renewal. Alison serves on the Council of SOMA UK, and is a member of the Archbishops' College of Evangelists. She is married to Roger, and they have three children. Alison’s own website is www.alisonmorgan.co.uk.
Christine Treanor is the ReSource Administrator. Christine has moved from her home in Leicestershire to open and manage the new ReSource office in Wells. Christine was brought up in Bath where her father was a clergyman, and is delighted to be back in her home diocese. She has three grown up daughters living and working in London. Christine introduces herself.

Roger Morgan has recently joined the ReSource core team as a strategist, planner and mission specialist. Roger was for many years a mathematician and lecturer in the Management Studies department at Cambridge University, during which time he built up a ministry among both students and townspeople. During this time Roger also worked in partnership with Daniel Cozens of Through Faith Missions, planning and leading parish missions all over the country. From 1984-2008 Roger was in full time parish ministry, serving first as vicar of St Columba’s, Corby and then as vicar of Holy Trinity, Leicester. During his time at Holy Trinity Roger built up a staff team of 10, planted a new church, developed a multimedia outreach programme called Questions, and established a network of cell groups currently involving over 600 people. His role with ReSource will include business management, mission support, and team development.

Christine Zwart is Editor of ReSource magazine. Formerly editor of The Door, the Oxford diocesan newspaper, Christine’s faith came alive when a stranger told her about Jesus. Ever since then she has been passionately committed to using her creativity to pass on the good news, and she now brings all her skills and experience to the magazine. Married to Pieter, with four grown up children and four grandchildren, Christine lives in Woodstock.
